OUR CURRENT VACANCIES
Prep School - Math Teacher
We are seeking to appoint additional members of staff to join our thriving Maths department. The suitable candidates should be able to teach Years 5 to 8 Maths. The ability to teach other subjects would be an advantage.
This role is suited to forward-thinking, experienced, energetic and passionate teachers who are also keen to contribute to our extensive co-curricular programme.
The start date for the roles will vary according to the successful candidates’ circumstances. The earliest appointment will be for January 2022 and the later ones will be for September 2022.
Please note that applications will be reviewed as they are received and the School reserves the right to make appointments before the closing date, so early applications are encouraged.

Maternity PE Cover Teacher (2nd January 2022 - 4th July 2022)
We are seeking to appoint a highly qualified and enthusiastic PE teacher to teach maternity cover for FS1 to Year 13, starting January 2022 - July 2022. Lessons from Year 1 – Year 2 are mixed and Year 3 onwards are single sex. The ideal candidate will also have experience coaching netball for girls football to a high level. The post will suit an experienced teacher, committed to delivering an exceptional learning experience for every pupil.
At Cranleigh, we make PE and sport fun for our students and encourage their active and enthusiastic participation, at the same time producing motivated sportsmen and women who are good role models. As a consequence, we have a growing reputation within the Abu Dhabi International Schools Sports Association (ADISSA) and the BSME (British Schools Middle East) from Y3 – Y13.
We have an extensive after school CCA program, with a choice of many different sports, and regular inter-school matches for Y3-Y6, students are kept healthy and active. Many students play several sports, and we encourage this: our belief is breadth of experience is preferable to specialisation at school level.
We are very lucky to have our own first-class facilities onsite to match a wide range of interests and abilities. A team of well qualified and motivated PE staff deliver our broad and diverse PE programme. Our major sports are football, netball, swimming and rugby, but we are also competitive at athletics, cricket, touch rugby, volleyball and basketball.
