أولويات قناة السويس تتسق مع أجندة مؤتمر المناخ

تسعى المنطقة الاقتصادية لقناة السويس لتوطيد علاقاتها الاقتصادية مع الدول الأجنبية بهدف تنمية الأنشطة الصناعية ومجال الوقود الأخضر،  وتركز المنطقة الاقتصادية لقناة السويس بشكل خاص على تعزيز علاقاتها التجارية مع دول البريكس استعدادًا لانضمام مصر للتكتل الاقتصادي رسميًا في بداية يناير المقبل. 

توصيات مؤتمرات التغير المناخي

وقد أكد وليد جمال الدين رئيس الهيئة العامة للمنطقة الاقتصادية لهيئة قناة السويس على جاهزية المنطقة لتقديم كافة الخدمات البحرية المتنوعة عن طريق موانئها كما أشار إلى استعداد المنطقة لتقديم المزيد من التسهيلات والحوافز المالية الداعمة للمستثمرين بهدف استخدام فعال للوقود الأخضر في الأنشطة الصناعية والبحرية بما يتماشى مع توصيات مؤتمرات التغير المناخي. 

وعلى هامش فعاليات مؤتمر الأمم المتحدة للتغير المناخي المقام في دبي، أعلنت هيئة قناة السويس الاقتصادية توقيع المنطقة الاقتصادية للقناة مذكرة تفاهم بقيمة 1.1 مليار دولار مع الشركة النرويجية  “...” بهدف تموين سفن المنطقة بالوقود الأخضر عن طريق شركة “سكاتك” وقد أشادت كلًا من وزارة البترول والثروة المعدنية ووزارة التعاون الدولي بالاتفاقية نظرًا لنجاح الشركة النرويجية في مجال أنظمة الطاقة المتجددة وقيامها بتصدير أو لشحن الأمونيا الخضراء للعالم. 

الوقود الاخضر 

وتكمن أهمية هذه الاتفاقية في ضرورة تزويد السفن بالوقود الأخضر كمطلب عالمي من أجل خفض انبعاثات الكربون الناتجة عن النقل البحري،  كما أعرب رئيس الهيئة العامة للمنطقة الاقتصادية لقناة السويس عن سعادته بالشراكة الناجحة مع مجموعة موانئ دبي العالمية حيث وضعت المجموعة في نهاية نوفمبر الماضي حجر الأساس لمشروع المستودعات اللوجيستية في منطقة السخنة المتكاملة التابعة للمنطقة الاقتصادية،  وتزايدت رغبة المجموعة الإماراتية في تعميق التعاون مع المنطقة الاقتصادية نتيجة لحرص المنطقة على تحفيز الفرص الاستثمارية بداخلها كما رأت مجموعة موانئ دبي أن الاستثمار في المناطق الصناعية هو أساس تحقيق التكامل وتشغيل الموانئ بالصورة الأمثل.

The Suez Canal Economic Zone seeks to strengthen its economic relations with foreign countries with a view to developing industrial activities and the field of green fuels. The Suez Canal Economic Zone focuses in particular on strengthening its trade relations with BRICS countries in preparation for Egypt's formal accession to the economic conglomerate at the beginning of January. Walid Jamaluddin، Chairman of the General Authority for the Economic Zone of the Suez Canal Authority، stressed the region's readiness to provide all varied marine services through its ports. He also indicated the region's willingness to provide more financial facilities and incentives to investors in order to effectively use green fuels in industrial and marine activities in line with the recommendations of climate change conferences.

On the sidelines of the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Dubai، the Suez Canal Economic Authority announced the signing of a $1.1 billion memorandum of understanding with the Norwegian company... " With the aim of supplying the region's vessels with organic fuels through Skatek، both the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and the Ministry of International Cooperation commended the agreement due to the success of the Norwegian company in renewable energy systems and its export of the world's first green ammonia shipments.

The importance of this Convention lies in the need to provide vessels with green fuel as a global requirement to reduce carbon emissions from shipping The Chairman of the Suez Canal Economic Zone General Authority expressed his pleasure at the successful partnership with the DP World Group. At the end of last November، the group laid the foundation stone for the logistics warehouse project in the Integrated Sokhna Area of the Economic Zone. The UAE Group's desire to deepen cooperation with the economic zone has increased as a result of the region's keenness to stimulate investment opportunities within it. The DP Group has also seen investment in industrial zones as the basis for optimal integration and operation of ports.
