Brief Description: 
  
1. Teach English language courses offered by the English Language Center at the respective college.
Eligibility Required: 
  
1. Must have obtained a Bachelor degree in English Language / Linguistics، with a minimum GPA of very good (2.67 out of 4.00)، or its equivalent.
2. One vacancy for English Literature:
• Must have obtained a Master’s degree in English Art، English Literature، or any related field.

3. One vacancy for Linguistics:
• Must have obtained a Master Degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL)، Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL)، Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)، Linguistics (in English)، or Applied Linguistics (in English).
4. Must have obtained all education qualifications from an accredited university by the Public Universities’ Council (PUC) in a traditional residential، on-campus format and according to the applicable laws and regulations of Kuwait University.
5. Two years of teaching experience in the specialty field is preferred after obtaining the Master Degree.
6. The priority in appointment is based on the master's degree specialty in the same order mentioned in the job post، with one job vacancy available for each specialty.
7. Position for Kuwaiti Nationals only.

Required Materials: 
  
1. A teaching statement explaining the candidate’s interest in the position، and the curriculum vitae.
2. The Bachelor diploma، the Master’s diploma، and transcripts (authenticated copies).
3. The equivalency certificates from the Ministry of Higher Education in Kuwait for Bachelor and Master obtained from a university other than Kuwait University.
4. Experience certificates.
5. Letter of recommendation (if available).
6. Copy of Civil ID and Nationality certificate.
7. Copy of study leave / social security.
