بيروت - استقبل رئيس جمعية "مدرار" الأستاذ عبد الله نبيه بري سعادة الدكتور طلال أبوغزالة، رئيس ومؤسس طلال أبوغزاله العالمية، في مقر مشروع "مدرار الطبي" في بلدة شوكين في جنوب لبنان.

وخلال اللقاء عبر الأستاذ بري عن إعجابه وتقديره للدكتور أبوغزاله لإصراره على زيارة جنوب لبنان في ظل هذه الظروف الصعبة التي يمر بها لبنان وفلسطين المحتلة.

وتخلل اللقاء، جولة في داخل الصرح الطبي وفي مختلف الأقسام بما فيها المسرح المتطور ومحطة الطاقة الشمسية التي تغذي المشروع بالطاقة، حيث أطلعه على تفاصيل المشروع وأهميته في المنطقة.

بدوره أشاد الدكتور طلال أبوغزالة بالمشروع وتجهيزاته الحديثة، متمنيا له النجاح الكبير في تقديم أرقى الخدمات الطبية للجنوب وللبنان.

وأكد أبوغزالة أن إصراره على زيارة الجنوب نابع من محبته ووفائه لأهل الجنوب وللبنان الذي احتضنه عندما جاء لاجئًا من فلسطين مع عائلته عام 1948.

وفي ختام الزيارة، قدم بري للدكتور أبوغزاله درعًا تقديريًا من المشروع.
Abdallah Berri Receives Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh at Medrar Medical Project in South Lebanon
BEIRUT – President of Medrar Foundation، Mr. Abdallah Nabih Berri، has received at the headquarters of the ‘Medrar Medical’ project HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh، founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global)، in Choukine village in the southern Lebanon.
During the meeting، Mr. Berri expressed his admiration and appreciation for Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s insistence on visiting southern Lebanon under the difficult circumstances Lebanon and occupied Palestine are facing.
A tour around the medical facility and its various departments was conducted during the visit، including the theater and the solar power plant that supplies the project with energy، where Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh was briefed on the details of the project and its importance to the region.
For his part، Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh highly praised the project team، objectives and its modern equipment، wishing them great success in delivering the best medical care services to the southern parts of the country and to Lebanon as a whole.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh also stressed that his determination on visiting Southern Lebanon stems from his love and loyalty to the people of the South in particular and to Lebanon in general، the country that hosted him when he came as a refugee from Palestine with his family in 1948.
At the end of the visit، Mr. Berri presented the Project’s honorary shield to Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh.
