College Profile:

The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) houses nine departments، covering a wide range of undergraduate specializations in the Arts and Sciences including English Literature and Linguistics، Arabic Language، Mass Communication، History، Sociology، Social Work، Psychology، International Affairs، Policy، Planning and Development، Statistics، Chemistry، Biological Sciences، and Environmental Sciences. The College also houses Master Programs، which are M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences، M.A. in Gulf Studies، M.A. in Arabic Language and Literature، M.Sc. in Materials Science and Technology، and M.Sc. in Applied Statistics. In addition to a PhD in Biological and Environmental Sciences and a PhD in Gulf Studies. Additionally، the College offers a Program of Arabic for Non- Native Speakers. Duties & Responsibilities  
Department Profile:
The Department of Humanities at Qatar University، Doha، invites applications for a full time position at the level of Associate Professor in Fine Arts to begin January 2024. The position is three years renewable. Primary responsibilities will include developing and teaching classroom-based and online courses in Fine Arts with demonstrated teaching excellence and a commitment to scholarship.

Candidates should be committed to excellence in teaching. Candidates must have a PhD degree in Fine Arts. Preference will be given to candidates who have a track record of excellent publication and possess the potential and willingness to collaborate with faculty within and across departmental divisions. Priority will be given to candidates who fluent in both Arabic and English.

4. Contribute to the development of new Fine Arts. courses/programs/research centers.
5. Assist Department Head in various tasks as assigned.
6. Monitor the academic performance of undergraduate students.

3. Teaching experience at tertiary level
