JOB PURPOSE
The University of Sharjah seeks to hire an English Language Lecturer to start in August 2023. The position requires a PhD holder in Applied Linguistics or a related area of specialty. The candidate must demonstrate an ability to teach language skills courses، such as English for Humanities، English for Medical Purposes، and Basic English.

JOB SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

REQUIRED SKILLS

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
PhD in Applied Linguistics or TESOL from a recognized and an accredited university by the UAE Ministry of Education.
A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience after obtaining the PhD.
Evidence of teaching experience.
Evidence of relevant research published if available.
