Duties
The Department of Animal & Veterinary Sciences wishes to hire an Assistant Professor (Clinical Veterinarian in Large Animal Medicine and Surgery) to perform the following duties:

Teach both undergraduate and postgraduate veterinary students.
The candidate will also be expected to be significantly involved in the clinical care of farm animals.

Develop an area of independent or collaborative research in his/her area of interest.
Have experience in project management and disease surveillance.
Provide clinical expertise in large animal medicine and surgery. Experience in small animal medicine & surgery would be an added benefit.
Supervising BSc. graduation projects and MSc theses.

All instruction is in English and candidates must be fluent in English.
Requirements
DVM or equivalent degree، from an internationally recognized program of veterinary medicine AND a Ph.D. in the relevant area pertaining to Veterinary Medicine and solid research and publication record، is required.
Demonstrate significant evidence of expertise in teaching and clinical practice.
Demonstrable evidence of both diagnostic and research-based scholarly achievements in large animal clinical medicine and surgery.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in a variety of allied disciplines of veterinary medicine.
Positions will remain open until filled but applications received before March 31، 2022، will receive the strongest consideration.
