The objective of the study is to establish associations between the morphological findings and the functional outcomes of pneumonia by applying machine learning. Tasks to accomplish:

(1) quantify the structural changes in CT images of patients with COVID-19 associated pneumonia and to study the relationship between the radiomics features extracted from lung CT images، demographics، and the laboratory markers of disease severity;

(2) find the radiomics reflective of the functional changes in patients with COVID-19; (3) compare the reconstruction kernels of lung CT images with regard to the predictive potential for identifying the values of the clinical severity markers. Requirements for an applicant: expertise in medical / biological research، statistical analysis of data، academic writing skills.

Expected Skills/Rank/Experience * Ability to analyze and interpret medical images (CT، MRI، radiograms) and other scientific data * Communicate effectively with health care professionals * Communicate fluently in English language * Preparing Health care / hospital statistics * Ability to work with SPM، FSL frameworks، SlySoft Statistica or SPSS Statistics * Excellent knowledge of using the Internet and E-mail.
