1. The faculty members are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses. Also، to supervise and mentor graduate and undergraduate students.

2. Participate in committee(s) and other activities of the department.
5. Build an independent research program، which complements and enhances ongoing research activities in the field and leads to publication and external funding، as well as to provide service to the department، the college، the university، and the community.
Eligibility Required:

1. Must have a bachelor's degree in Finance - Accounting - Economics - Engineering.
2. Must have a master's and a PhD Degree in Finance with concentration in financial econometrics or asset pricing.
3. Must have strong research records and publications record in JCR ranked journals as commensurate with the rank and according to the applicable laws and regulations of Kuwait University and promotion system of Kuwait University.

4. Must have obtained all education qualifications from accredited universities by Kuwait University in a traditional residential، on-campus format and according to the applicable laws and regulations of Kuwait University.

5. Must have a distinguished teaching experience in undergraduate / graduate levels as commensurate with the rank and according to the applicable laws and regulations of Kuwait University.
6. Applicant should have، at least، five years experience in either an AACSB accredited institution، or internationally reputable academic institution in the academic position the applicant is applying for.
7. Full command of English language is required.
8. All qualifications must be from AACSB accredited institution following the North American PhD Model، that is within the top 250 universities in QS ranking.

9. Appointment to the rank of the professor requires:
• A minimum of 15 full-length research papers (not extracted from MS thesis or Ph.D dissertation)، published in refereed journals، including a minimum of three papers published in international journals listed on Scopus (International database).
• The 15 full-length research papers must be in the area of specialization with a minimum of 3 publications in the last 5 years.
• The applicant must be the first author in at least 8 of the 15 publications mentioned above.

• Serving as an associate professor for at least 4 academic years at a university، college، or institution.
10. Appointment to the rank of the associate professor requires:
• A minimum of 5 full-length research papers (not extracted from MS thesis or Ph.D dissertation)، published in refereed journals، including a minimum of one paper published in international journals listed on Scopus (International database).
• The 5 full-length research papers must be in the area of specialization with a minimum of 3 publications in the last 5 years.
• The applicant must be the first author in at least 3 of the 5 publications mentioned above.
• Serving as an assistant professor for at least 4 academic years at a university، college، or institution.
