1. The faculty members are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses. Also، to supervise and mentor graduate and undergraduate students.
2. Participate in committee(s) and other activities of the department.
3. Build an independent research program، which complements and enhances ongoing research activities in the field and leads to publication and external funding، as well as to provide service to the department، the college، the university، and the community.
Eligibility Required:

1. Must have a bachelor's degree in Clinical Audiology or Speech Pathology.
2. Must have a master's and a PhD Degree in Clinical Audiology or Speech Pathology.
3. Must have strong research records and publications in reputable international journals as commensurate with the rank and according to the applicable laws and regulations of Kuwait University and promotion system of Kuwait University.
4. Must have obtained all education qualifications from accredited universities by the official authorities in a traditional residential، on-campus format and according to the applicable laws and regulations of Kuwait University.
5. Must have a distinguished teaching experience in undergraduate / graduate levels as commensurate with the rank and according to the applicable laws and regulations of Kuwait University.
6. Must have 3-5 year clinical experience in Clinical Audiology or Speech Pathology.
7. Appointment to the rank of the associate professor requires:
• A minimum of 5 full-length research papers (not extracted from MS thesis or Ph.D dissertation)، published in refereed international journals.

• The 5 full-length research papers must be in the area of specialization with a minimum of 3 publications in the last 5 years.
• The applicant must be the first author in at least 3 of the 5 publications mentioned above.
• Serving as an assistant professor for at least 4 academic years at a university، college or institution.

8. Appointment to the rank of the assistant professor requires strong research background and a strong publication record in referred international journals in the area of specialization with a minimum of 3 publications in the last 5 years، after obtaining the PhD degree، and not extracted from MS thesis or Ph.D. dissertation. One of the 3 publications must be published within three years prior to this advertisement The applicant should be first /sole author on at least 1 of these articles.
