The High School has a maternity leave position open from the end of January 2022 for 2 months. No sponsorship or benefits will be offered for this short time assignment.
Maternity Coverage for Applied Mathematics
Applied Mathematics focuses on having students learn about the connections between concepts and the practical uses for mathematics in life and in the workplace. Students study essential concepts from the major domains (number, algebra and functions, statistics and probability, and geometry and measurement). Extended topics of study include: financial literacy and data science – living in a time of digital data students will develop the knowledge to extract meaningful insights from the data around them.
The High School has a maternity leave position open from the beginning of March 2022 for two months. No sponsorship or benefits will be offered for this short time assignment.

The minimum teaching requirements for ACS faculty are:
Bachelors or Masters in a related teaching field
Teaching credential or certification
Minimum of four years recent full time teaching experience
All candidates should meet these minimum requirements by ADEK (Department of Education and Knowledge) in order to obtain a teaching license in Abu Dhabi; the degree and area of specialization (major) should align with the position that you are applying for. The candidate should also have a minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in their area of specialization. A certificate in Education is a must.
Please Note:
Preference will be given to candidates holding a North American teaching qualification and experience, preferably in a North American and/or International School educational environment
Background checks will be conducted on all successful candidates
ACS retirement age is 65
