High School/Middle School (HS/MS) Computer Science Teacher

TAISM is pleased to announce an extraordinary opportunity for a High School/Middle School (HS/MS) Computer Science Teacher to join our teaching team starting in August 2022. We know that being an educator in the overseas teaching market is not just about educational credentials and experience qualifications. Reporting to the High School Principal, the Computer Science teacher, will teach courses in Computer Science in Middle and High school, including Advanced Placement (AP) Computer Science Principles.

Through the ongoing global pandemic, technology has risen to the forefront in education. Our teachers are leading their students in creative and innovative ways, placing a high importance on using technology and design, whether teaching in the classroom or virtually.  In addition to integrating technologies across all subjects, we also provide a Computer Science program that is vertically articulated from Kindergarten through grade 12. TAISM provides ubiquitous access to information and communications technology tools, including one iPad for every student K-12, class sets of laptop ChromeBooks, as well as students utilizing their own technology tools as appropriate.

Must Have

Current, valid North American-recognized teaching certification

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related area

Minimum of 2 years' experience teaching computer science or related courses in an American or international educational setting

Master's Degree

International teaching experience

Experience in the development of Computer Science and/or Design Technology curriculum and programs
