JOB GOAL:
To assist students in achieving high academic excellence.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Instructs classes according to the timetable on school campus according to the International Preschool Curriculum or Cambridge Curriculum.
2. Creates lesson plans to meet the individual needs, interests and abilities of the students. Establishes clear objectives for lesson, units and projects.
3. Assesses students on a regular basis to ensure learning of the curriculum. Implements term exams for each subject area. Utilizes student data to inform instructional decisions.
4. Maintains accurate and complete student records- report cards and attendance.
5. Maintains a safe classroom environment that is conducive to learning. Takes appropriate responsibility to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities by addressing concerns to the Principal.
6. Creates classroom rules and procedures to ensure positive classroom behavior. Maintains order in the classroom.
7. Assists the administration in implementing all policies, rules, and regulations pertaining to one’s classroom community.
8. Meets with parents regarding educational matters when required PTC or requested via SMS scheduling.
9. Continues professional learning to improve instructional practices.
10. Attends staff meetings and serves on staff committees as required.
11. Teaches after-school clubs as assigned by the Principal.
12. To perform other duties as assigned by the Principal.
