| Upper Elementary Teachers (Grade 3 - Grade 5) | Education: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in education or the related subject area AND a certified teaching qualification. Experience: A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience with demonstrated success in student progress and attainment. American curriculum experience is preferred. Requirements: Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Well-organized and committed professional Creative and energetic educator Non-Native English speakers must have a minimum score of 96 in TOEFL or 7.5 in IELTS. |
| Secondary Teachers (Mathematics, Science and French language) | Education:: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in education or the related subject area AND a certified teaching qualification. Experience: A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience with demonstrated success in student progress and attainment. American curriculum experience is preferred (AERO or Common Core Standard). Requirements: Excellent interpersonal communication skills are essential. Technology skills must be at the intermediate, advanced or expert level. Non-Native English speakers must have a minimum score of 96 in TOEFL or 7.5 in IELTS. |
| Instructional Assistants | Education: Understanding of relevant specialist area (e.g. subject area, Early Childhood) sufficient to pupils’ learning Experience:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom. An excellent team player both within the department and across phases. Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with students and parents. Good command of English. Time management and organisation skills. Literacy and Numeracy skills. Knowledge of strategies which promote good behaviour and discipline. Support ethos of the learning environment. Caring and tolerant.
