| JOB PURPOSE | The Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at the University of Sharjah seeks to fill two (2) positions in the area of Water Resources Engineering. The appointments are expected to be at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor rank. Candidates are expected to have excellent record of accomplishment in teaching, research, high quality publications and leadership of funded research projects. |
| MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES & EXPECTATIONS | Develop and teach undergraduate as well as MSc. and PhD courses Lead active research and supervise undergraduate, MSc and PhD students Contribute to the development of undergraduate and graduate programs and their accreditations Engage in community service, including serving the profession

| PREFERRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE | Minimum qualification includes a PhD degree in Civil Engineering and a graduate education record combining course work and research as well as a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable and accredited institution of higher education
