Recruitment Fraud Notice

It has come to our attention that there are some bodies, persons, and websites involved in fraudulent job postings and offers purporting to be from or associated with the College of the North Atlantic in Qatar (“CNAQ”), which include misusing candidates’ personal information and offering non-existent jobs at CNAQ, either free of charge or in return for payment.

CNAQ does not send unsolicited emails with offers of employment, nor requires any payment of fees for the processing of job applications or employment visas. All employment opportunities are advertised on the CNAQ website and recruitment is done directly and via authorized third party recruitment agencies.

CNAQ’s recruitment team uses only authorized email address, originating only from the “cna-qatar.edu.qa” domain. We do not permit employees to send or receive work related emails from personal accounts or any other address.

CNAQ does not charge any application, processing, training, interviewing, testing or other fee in connection with the application or recruitment process. Please also note that emblems, logos, names and addresses are easily copied and reproduced. Therefore, you are advised to apply particular care when submitting personal information on the web.

If you receive what seems to be an unusual money request from person(s) representing to be members of CNAQ, or have concerns as to the authenticity of CNAQ’s actual involvement in a particular transaction, solicitation, notification, directive or request, do NOT respond to the request and do NOT send any money or provide any of your personal bank account details.

Please be advised that any potential job-seeker willingly corresponding with such individuals and recruitment agencies in any manner whether by e-mails or otherwise will be doing so at their own risks and consequences. CNAQ strongly recommends that the potential job-seekers should not respond to such solicitations.

Kindly note that CNAQ will not accept any liability for any loss or damage that may be suffered or incurred directly or indirectly through correspondence with fraudulent individuals or recruitment agencies and that such communication should not be treated as an offer or representation from CNAQ.
